Is Wenel free?
Wenel is free to download, with no ads and no mandatory account. If you'd like to help the project, there's an optional way to support the developer on the About app screen.
How do I set up medication reminders?
In the medication and reminders section, add the medicine, dose and time, then choose daily, every other day or a custom schedule. Wenel shows a notification with a sound and reminds you again if the dose isn't marked. Allow notifications so reminders arrive on time.
How can I track my child's temperature?
Create a profile for your child and log temperature readings during the illness. The treatment progress view draws a chart for a week, a month or a year, and you can share a PDF report with your paediatrician.
Can I log blood pressure and blood sugar?
Yes. Blood pressure, sugar and pulse take a few taps to record, and charts show how they change over the period you choose. Each family member gets their own profile — up to four in total.
How do I make a PDF report for my doctor?
Choose the person and the period, create a short or full PDF report and tap Send report. The standard Android share menu opens, so you can send it via a messenger or email. You can also save the report to Documents/Wenel Reports.
Where is my data stored, and is it safe?
Only on your phone, in an encrypted database. If your phone has a screen lock, Wenel asks for your fingerprint, PIN or pattern when it opens, and screenshots of the app are blocked. We don't receive, see or store your records.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Create a backup in Settings. The file is always encrypted with a passphrase of at least 10 characters. Save it to Google Drive, Telegram or a USB drive and restore it on the new phone. Android's automatic cloud backup is off for Wenel, and the file can't be opened without the passphrase.
Does Wenel replace a doctor?
No. Wenel is a personal health diary for notes and reports. It doesn't replace medical advice, diagnosis or emergency care.
